Olympics: How to Release the Olympian Within

Olympics:
How to Release the Olympian Within

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the Olympics!  I love seeing the world’s greatest athletes perform at the highest level on the largest stage in the world. For me; it is exciting, it is thrilling, and it is inspirational.
The other night, I was sitting on my couch watching the Olympics when a thought came to me. I said, ‘There has to be something about these particular individuals that separate them from all of the other athletes in the world. There has to be something that makes them so unique, so special, and so great.’
My first thoughts were, ‘Well, they probably have better trainers. Or maybe they have a better work ethic. Or maybe, they just have better athletic genes.’ And although I’m sure that all of these are contributing factors to their success, I knew that that wasn’t quite it. So, I kept pondering. Then, it hit me.
I am pretty sure that Olympic athletes have 2 things that so many others lacked. Let me share them with you. They are a vision and a plan of action.

A Vision
To be great, one must have a vision. One must be able to take his/her dreams and make them more detailed and more real. One must be able to mentally see his/her dreams as reality. Anything that is created (success, failure, products, etc) begins first in the mind.
A Plan of Action
One must next develop a plan of action. If we are to succeed in life, we have to be able to take our vision and create a step by step guide as to how we will achieve it.
It is my opinion that if we develop these two things, we can perform in our own lives at a level once unimaginable to us. We can indeed become Olympians from within. Take a look at the video by clicking the photo, which will inspire you to release that Olympian from within.
